NDIS providers across Australia
IT Support and Cyber Security for NDIS Providers
Keep participant information secure, wherever your support workers are
Digitek IT looks after the devices, email, files and security for NDIS providers, from small teams with one office to providers running several sites.
Your workers get secure access to what they need from a participant’s home or out in the community, and you can show how participant information is protected when your auditor or insurer asks.

Can you answer yes to these?
Five questions worth checking before your next audit or insurance renewal.
- Is multi-factor authentication turned on for every email account?
- Are the laptops and phones your workers use encrypted?
- Have your backups been tested in the last few months?
- Is access removed on the day a worker leaves?
- Can you see who has opened a participant's file?

IT Support for NDIS Providers
IT built around how NDIS providers actually work
Most IT setups are designed for a team that sits in one office. Your support workers are in participants’ homes, out in the community and on the road, often working from a phone or tablet between shifts.
Digitek sets up your devices, accounts and files so your workers can reach care plans and notes wherever they are, while participant information stays protected and the office can see who has access to what.
NDIS IT support is worth a look if
- Participant information is spread across emailed spreadsheets, personal phones and shared logins
- Workers are using their own phones with no way to remove work files when they leave
- Your audit is coming up and you are not sure the IT side will stand up to questions
- Your cyber insurer has sent a questionnaire you do not know how to answer
- You are adding sites or workers and your current setup is struggling to keep up
The people you support trust you with their information as well as their care.
What's Included
What NDIS IT support includes
Your setup is built around the size of your organisation and the way your workers deliver supports. These are the services NDIS providers most often need.
Secure participant files
Care plans, progress notes and participant records are moved into Microsoft 365, with SharePoint and OneDrive permissions set by role so each worker only sees what they need.
Phones, tablets and laptops in the field
The devices your workers use are encrypted and managed, and a lost phone or tablet can be locked or wiped remotely.
Cyber security and staff training
We put multi-factor authentication, email filtering and endpoint protection in place, and train your workers to spot a suspicious email.
Workers starting and leaving
New workers have their account and access ready for their first shift, and access is removed on the day someone leaves.
Backup and recovery
Participant records and business data are backed up regularly and the backups are checked, so a lost device or deleted folder does not mean lost notes.
Support across sites and regions
Providers with several sites or workers spread across regions get one number to call, with most problems fixed remotely Australia-wide.
Client Results
What NDIS IT support looked like for a ten-site provider
This Sydney NDIS provider was running ten sites on outdated computers, with participant information shared in emailed spreadsheets.
Before Digitek
- Outdated computers across ten sites
- Participant information shared in emailed spreadsheets
After the change
- Records moved into a secure SharePoint portal
- Every device encrypted
- Staff trained in cyber security
- Workers can open care notes from any location safely
Help with cyber insurance
Joe spent 11 years as an insurance broker in cyber cover. He can help you work through your insurer’s questionnaire, and we can put in place the protections insurers usually ask about.
Why Digitek
Why NDIS providers choose Digitek
Your workers cannot wait days for a fix when they are due at a participant’s home. Every agreement sets out how quickly we respond, so you know what to expect.
Support that suits workers in the field
Most problems are fixed remotely, which suits support workers who are rarely in the office.
One team for every site
Every site and every worker calls the same number and deals with the same small team, so nobody has to explain your setup twice.
Security experience at scale
Jordan spent close to ten years in cyber security at one of Australia's largest companies, and brings that thinking to how participant information is protected.
Price agreed up front, no lock-in

Where We Work
Supporting NDIS providers across Australia
Digitek IT is based in Western Sydney, with on-site support for providers in Penrith, Parramatta and the surrounding suburbs. Providers in other cities and regional areas are supported remotely, which is how most day-to-day problems are fixed anyway.

This is their second company we are using and extremely professional. Helped me setup our microsoft outlook (absolute nightmare when we were trying to do it ourselves) but they saved the day. They gave me an upfront number which I love vs guessing how much it'll be right at the endPosted on Google![]()

I was experiencing issues with email deliverability and wasn’t sure what was causing it. I reached out to Jordan, and with just one quick look, he pinpointed the problem, my DMARC records weren’t set up correctly. He offered a complimentary call, explained everything clearly, and helped me get it sorted straight away. Super responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be referring others to him in future!Posted on Google![]()

Questions
NDIS IT support: common questions
How much does IT support cost for an NDIS provider?
IT support is priced per user, per month, based on the number of workers and devices you need supported and the security your organisation needs. A one-off setup cost may apply when we first secure your devices and move participant files, and we confirm it with you up front. You get a clear price in writing before any work starts.
Can you make us NDIS compliant?
No IT provider can make you compliant on its own, because NDIS compliance covers your whole organisation. What we do is set up and manage the IT side, including where participant information is stored, who can access it, device encryption and backups, so you can show your auditor how participant information is protected.
Do you work with our client management software?
Most NDIS client management systems run in the cloud. We look after the devices, accounts and security your workers use to reach them, and we can work with the software provider when a problem sits on their side.
Can our support workers use their own phones?
They can, but participant information then sits on a phone you do not control. We can set up phones so work apps and participant information are kept separate from personal use and can be removed when a worker leaves.
Can you help with our cyber insurance questionnaire?
Yes. Joe spent 11 years as an insurance broker in cyber cover and can help you work through the questions, and we can put in place the protections insurers usually ask about, such as multi-factor authentication and tested backups.
What happens when a support worker leaves?
We remove their access to email, participant files and your client management system on the day they leave, and make sure any work files on their devices stay with your organisation.
How quickly do you respond when something goes wrong?
Response times are set out in your agreement. We respond to critical problems within 1 hour, high priority problems within 2 hours, medium within 4 hours and low within 8 hours, during business hours of 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Do you support NDIS providers outside Sydney?
Yes. We are based in Western Sydney and support NDIS providers in other cities and regional areas remotely, including organisations with workers spread across several regions.
Ready to protect participant information without slowing your workers down?
Tell us about your sites, your workers and the systems you use. We will give you a clear monthly price, and there is no lock-in contract.
