Our journey began with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by local enterprises in harnessing the power of technology. Meet the Experts
Jim Thomas
Jim is a passionate technology leader with 18 years experience in the trenches of IT with roles such as Web Developer, Technical Business Analyst, Product Owner and Chief Technology Officer across startups, SMEs and Government Agencies. He has worked within the NDIS domains as well as Compliance and Privacy in addition to Small businesses such as Lawyers and Bookkeepers to name a few.
He is passionate about enabling small and medium businesses with the right IT infrastructure to make them more secure and productive, championing best practices across Office productivity applications, Cloud applications and IT security on staff devices.
On a personal note. Jim loves tech at home. He is an early adopter and friends are most likely to make some comments about the latest technology automation at home whether it is a bin with sensors or that everything is wireless. Jim loves playing a game of badminton besides watching cricket on the telly and beers and BBQ with the boys. He is a family man with 3 young kids and most weekends are spent with family and friends.
Joe Daley
11 Years of experience as a general insurance broker, with large experience in the Cyber & IT insurance space, Joe has seen everything from the gold standard of IT & Cyber Security implementation, through to the absolute bare minimum. Digitek IT, in my view, is the vehicle in which our clients, irrespective of their knowledge, profession or digital proficiency, are able to obtain high quality advice and services for the right price. In addition to that, my experience in commercial tech sales and project management in my past life allows me to offer the tangible sales and service that can set business on the right path forward from day one, when building or rebuilding for success in their technology infrastructure.
On a personal note, I am an entrepreneur who loves business and helping bring success, whatever that may look like, to my clients across various ventures in different capacities. I am a (over) passionate Western Sydney Wanderers and Liverpool FC fan, keen motorsport fan, and midfield maestro for the mighty Blaxland Redbacks FC.
Jordan Sidhom
With a wealth of experience spanning close to ten years in IT and Cyber Security for one of Australia’s largest companies, Jordan is deeply passionate about assisting businesses in fortifying their operations against digital threats. He holds a firm conviction that the majority of businesses can significantly mitigate their risks with some straightforward steps, bringing critical protection within easy reach. Alongside his cybersecurity expertise, Jordan also boasts substantial experience in website design and SEO, offering a holistic approach to online presence and security. His overarching mission is to demystify cybersecurity for Australian small businesses and the general public, advocating for accessible and effective security strategies.
Outside of this, Jordan enjoys staying active and playing baseball and tennis. He is a big fan of the Penrith Panthers in the NRL.
