Not-for-Profit IT Support
IT support for not-for-profit organisations
Not-for-profits often run on a mix of paid staff, part-time workers, volunteers and a board, all of whom need some access to your systems. Over time that can mean shared logins, files on personal devices and board business done from personal email.
Digitek sets up your IT so every person has the right access for their role, information about the people you support is protected, and someone looks after it properly, rather than a volunteer or staff member fitting it in alongside their real job.
Not-for-profit IT support is worth a look if
- Staff and volunteers share logins
- Board members use personal email for organisation business
- Files sit on personal laptops, USB sticks or old shared drives
- You are not sure whether you are paying nonprofit prices for Microsoft 365
- People who have left may still have access
- IT is handled by a volunteer or staff member on the side
Your team should spend its time on the people you support, not on passwords, printers and lost files.
What's Included
What IT support for not-for-profits includes
Your setup is built around how your organisation runs, including the mix of staff, volunteers and board members who need access. These are the services not-for-profits most often need.
Microsoft 365 and nonprofit pricing
We help eligible organisations check and apply for Microsoft’s nonprofit pricing, then set up email, Teams and shared files for your whole team.
Access for staff, volunteers and the board
Every person gets the access their role needs, board members get organisation accounts, and access is removed on the day someone leaves.
Protecting the people you support
Multi-factor authentication, email filtering and staff training help protect donor, client and participant information from phishing and stolen passwords.
Shared files across programs and sites
Files and team chat organised in Teams and SharePoint by program, team or location, so people can find what they need without emailing it around.
Computers and everyday support
Office and shared computers kept up to date and secure, with one number to call when someone needs help.
Backup and recovery
Your Microsoft 365 data and files backed up offsite and test restored, so records can be brought back after a mistake or an attack.

How It Works
Moving your organisation to Digitek
01
We start with a conversation
We talk through how your organisation runs, who needs access to what and which problems keep coming up.
02
You get a clear price
We review your accounts, devices, Microsoft 365 licences, security and backups, then agree a price and a plan before any work starts.
03
We manage the switch
We work with whoever looks after your IT now, whether that is a provider or a volunteer, to move accounts, devices and access across.
04
We look after it every day
Your systems are monitored and updated, new people are set up as they join and access is removed when they leave.

This is their second company we are using and extremely professional. Helped me setup our microsoft outlook (absolute nightmare when we were trying to do it ourselves) but they saved the day. They gave me an upfront number which I love vs guessing how much it'll be right at the endPosted on Google![]()

I was experiencing issues with email deliverability and wasn’t sure what was causing it. I reached out to Jordan, and with just one quick look, he pinpointed the problem, my DMARC records weren’t set up correctly. He offered a complimentary call, explained everything clearly, and helped me get it sorted straight away. Super responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be referring others to him in future!Posted on Google![]()

Questions
IT support for not-for-profits: common questions
Can you help us get Microsoft's nonprofit pricing?
Yes. Microsoft offers nonprofit pricing to eligible organisations. As a Microsoft partner, we can help you check whether your organisation is eligible, work through the application and move your accounts onto the right plans.
Do volunteers need their own accounts?
We recommend an account for anyone who handles your organisation’s information, so access can be controlled and removed when they leave. Volunteers who only need a few tools can often be given a lower-cost account, and we will recommend what suits each role.
Our IT is looked after by a volunteer. Can you work with them?
Yes. We can take over from them completely, or work alongside them so they know what has been set up and who to call. Either way, you get response times in writing and someone accountable for your IT.
Can board members use their personal email?
It is better for board business to sit in organisation accounts. That way records stay with your organisation, access can be removed when someone leaves the board, and sensitive discussions are not spread across personal inboxes.
Do you support NDIS providers that are not-for-profits?
Yes. We work with NDIS providers of all kinds, including not-for-profit providers, and look after participant records, staff out in the community and multiple sites.
How much does IT support cost for a not-for-profit?
It depends on how many staff, volunteers and devices you have and what you need looked after. We review your setup first and agree a price with you before any work starts, so there are no surprise invoices.
Do we have to sign a long contract?
No. Digitek agreements are month to month, with 30 days notice if you ever want to leave.
Ready to talk about IT support for your organisation?
Tell us how your organisation runs and what keeps going wrong. We will give you a clear price, and there is no lock-in contract.
