Some of the businesses we work with

Why Managed IT Support
Why businesses move to managed IT support
With break-fix IT, you call someone after something has gone wrong and pay for the time it takes to fix it.
Managed IT support looks after your systems every day for a set monthly price, so fewer things go wrong in the first place and your team knows exactly who to call when they do.
Nobody in your office has to be the IT person
When IT problems land on whoever is best with computers, their real work stops. With managed support, your team calls us instead.
Problems are picked up early
Your devices are monitored and updated every day, so a failing drive or a missed security update can be dealt with before it stops your team working.
IT costs you can plan for
You pay a set monthly price based on your team and the services you need, instead of a different invoice every time something breaks.
Security that stays current
Your security settings, updates and protection are kept up to date as part of your agreement, rather than set up once and forgotten.
Every business we support gets the same three things in writing: what is included, what it costs each month and how quickly we respond.
What's Included
What managed IT support includes
Your agreement is built around what your business actually needs. These are the services most of our managed IT agreements include.
Help desk support
Your team has one number to call when something stops working. Most problems are fixed remotely while you wait, and we arrange an on-site visit when one is needed.
Monitoring and patching
Your computers and network are monitored around the clock, with Windows, Apple and software updates applied for you so nothing is left out of date.
Device setup and management
Every computer is set up the same way and brought under management, so your team has the same tools and settings on Windows 11 Pro or Apple devices.
Microsoft 365 and email
Each staff member gets their own secured Microsoft 365 account, with Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive set up and your email domain protected with SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
Security essentials
We put multi-factor authentication, password management, email filtering and endpoint protection in place, so your business is a harder target.
Backup and recovery
Your business data is backed up regularly and the backups are checked, so a deleted file or a failed laptop does not turn into lost work.
Staff starting and leaving
New staff have their accounts and devices ready for their first day, and access is removed on the day someone leaves.
Cloud PCs
Secure cloud desktops give remote and offshore staff a full work computer, with your company data kept in one place.

- An individual, secured account for every staff member
- Communication moved into Microsoft Teams
- Documents centralised for easier and safer collaboration
"
Jim and the team made the process easy and collaborative. We were extremely happy with the service.

Avani's story
Avani came to Digitek after her previous provider gave no upfront pricing, sent inconsistent invoices and never finished the initial setup. She got a clear quote, a plan she could follow and a setup that was actually completed.

This is their second company we are using and extremely professional. Helped me setup our microsoft outlook (absolute nightmare when we were trying to do it ourselves) but they saved the day. They gave me an upfront number which I love vs guessing how much it'll be right at the endPosted on Google![]()

I was experiencing issues with email deliverability and wasn’t sure what was causing it. I reached out to Jordan, and with just one quick look, he pinpointed the problem, my DMARC records weren’t set up correctly. He offered a complimentary call, explained everything clearly, and helped me get it sorted straight away. Super responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be referring others to him in future!Posted on Google![]()

Jim has helped me a number of times with my website safety and functionality. Not only that, but he has helped me research laptop and monitors for me when I was overwhelmed with the choices and was able to explain to me the differences. Will be using Jim at digitek for many years to come.
Questions
Managed IT support: common questions
How much does managed IT support cost?
Managed IT support is priced per user, per month, based on the support and security your business needs. A one-off setup cost may apply when we first bring your systems under management, and we confirm it with you up front. You get a clear price in writing before any work starts.
What is the difference between managed IT support and break-fix IT?
With break-fix IT, you call someone after something goes wrong and pay for the time it takes to fix it. With managed IT support, your systems are monitored and maintained every day for a set monthly price, so fewer things go wrong and you know what IT will cost each month.
Do I have to sign a lock-in contract?
No. Our agreements are month to month, and you can leave with 30 days notice.
Do you support Apple as well as Windows?
Yes. We support both Windows and Apple devices, including businesses that use a mix of the two.
How quickly do you respond when something goes wrong?
Response times are set out in your agreement. We respond to critical problems within 1 hour, high priority problems within 2 hours, medium within 4 hours and low within 8 hours, during business hours of 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
What happens when staff start or leave?
We set up new staff with their accounts, email and devices before their first day. When someone leaves, we remove their access on the day they go and make sure their files stay with the business.
Can you take over from our current IT provider?
Yes. We work with your current provider to hand over accounts, devices and access, so your team can keep working while the switch happens.
Do you support businesses outside Western Sydney?
Yes. We are based in Western Sydney and support businesses Australia-wide remotely. Most day-to-day support is done remotely anyway, because it is the quickest way to get your team back to work.
How many staff do you support?
We work with businesses that have teams of 1 to 30 staff, including small teams that do not have anyone in-house looking after IT.
Ready for IT that is looked after every day?
Tell us about your team and your current setup. We will give you a clear monthly price, and there is no lock-in contract.
