IT Support for Not-for-Profits and Charities

Reliable, secure IT that lets your team focus on the people you support

Digitek IT provides managed IT support for not-for-profits, charities and community organisations. We look after your computers, Microsoft 365, email security and backups, and set up access for staff, volunteers and board members as they come and go.

As a Microsoft partner, we can also help eligible organisations check and apply for Microsoft’s nonprofit pricing.

What we look after

Set up for staff, volunteers and your board.

Some of the businesses we work with

Not-for-Profit IT Support

IT support for not-for-profit organisations

Not-for-profits often run on a mix of paid staff, part-time workers, volunteers and a board, all of whom need some access to your systems. Over time that can mean shared logins, files on personal devices and board business done from personal email.

Digitek sets up your IT so every person has the right access for their role, information about the people you support is protected, and someone looks after it properly, rather than a volunteer or staff member fitting it in alongside their real job.

Not-for-profit IT support is worth a look if

Your team should spend its time on the people you support, not on passwords, printers and lost files.

What's Included

What IT support for not-for-profits includes

Your setup is built around how your organisation runs, including the mix of staff, volunteers and board members who need access. These are the services not-for-profits most often need.

Microsoft 365 and nonprofit pricing

We help eligible organisations check and apply for Microsoft’s nonprofit pricing, then set up email, Teams and shared files for your whole team.

Access for staff, volunteers and the board

Every person gets the access their role needs, board members get organisation accounts, and access is removed on the day someone leaves.

Protecting the people you support

Multi-factor authentication, email filtering and staff training help protect donor, client and participant information from phishing and stolen passwords.

Shared files across programs and sites

Files and team chat organised in Teams and SharePoint by program, team or location, so people can find what they need without emailing it around.

Computers and everyday support

Office and shared computers kept up to date and secure, with one number to call when someone needs help.

Backup and recovery

Your Microsoft 365 data and files backed up offsite and test restored, so records can be brought back after a mistake or an attack.

Why Digitek

Why not-for-profits choose Digitek

Every agreement sets out how quickly we respond, based on how serious the problem is, so your team is not left waiting when something goes wrong.

Help with Microsoft nonprofit pricing

As a Microsoft partner, we help eligible organisations work through Microsoft's nonprofit offers and choose the plans that suit each role.

Set up for people who come and go

Volunteers, casual staff and board members get the access they need when they start, and lose it on the day they leave.

Plain English for managers and boards

We explain what we are doing and why, so your manager and board can make decisions without needing a technical background.

Price agreed up front, no lock-in

We agree the price before any work starts, and agreements are month to month with 30 days notice.

How It Works

Moving your organisation to Digitek

01

We start with a conversation

We talk through how your organisation runs, who needs access to what and which problems keep coming up.

02

You get a clear price

We review your accounts, devices, Microsoft 365 licences, security and backups, then agree a price and a plan before any work starts.

03

We manage the switch

We work with whoever looks after your IT now, whether that is a provider or a volunteer, to move accounts, devices and access across.

04

We look after it every day

Your systems are monitored and updated, new people are set up as they join and access is removed when they leave.

Where We Work

Supporting not-for-profits in Western Sydney and beyond

Digitek IT is based in Western Sydney, with on-site support across Penrith, Parramatta, Norwest, Blacktown, the Hawkesbury and South West Sydney, including Liverpool and Campbelltown.

Organisations in other areas are supported remotely, which is how most day-to-day problems are fixed anyway. If you run programs from more than one site, we look after them all under the one agreement.

This is their second company we are using and extremely professional. Helped me setup our microsoft outlook (absolute nightmare when we were trying to do it ourselves) but they saved the day. They gave me an upfront number which I love vs guessing how much it'll be right at the end

I was experiencing issues with email deliverability and wasn’t sure what was causing it. I reached out to Jordan, and with just one quick look, he pinpointed the problem, my DMARC records weren’t set up correctly. He offered a complimentary call, explained everything clearly, and helped me get it sorted straight away. Super responsive, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be referring others to him in future!

Jim has helped me a number of times with my website safety and functionality. Not only that, but he has helped me research laptop and monitors for me when I was overwhelmed with the choices and was able to explain to me the differences. Will be using Jim at digitek for many years to come.

Questions

IT support for not-for-profits: common questions

Yes. Microsoft offers nonprofit pricing to eligible organisations. As a Microsoft partner, we can help you check whether your organisation is eligible, work through the application and move your accounts onto the right plans.

We recommend an account for anyone who handles your organisation’s information, so access can be controlled and removed when they leave. Volunteers who only need a few tools can often be given a lower-cost account, and we will recommend what suits each role.

Yes. We can take over from them completely, or work alongside them so they know what has been set up and who to call. Either way, you get response times in writing and someone accountable for your IT.

It is better for board business to sit in organisation accounts. That way records stay with your organisation, access can be removed when someone leaves the board, and sensitive discussions are not spread across personal inboxes.

Yes. We work with NDIS providers of all kinds, including not-for-profit providers, and look after participant records, staff out in the community and multiple sites.

It depends on how many staff, volunteers and devices you have and what you need looked after. We review your setup first and agree a price with you before any work starts, so there are no surprise invoices.

No. Digitek agreements are month to month, with 30 days notice if you ever want to leave.
